This app is awesome, makes shopping at Backcountry super easy. The interface is very intuitive and polished which shows a lot of work went into it. I would definitely recommend using this app over the website. Stores all your info for purchasing right in the app to make grabbing new gear a snap!

This app is great! It has such ease of use and features.
I was fond of BCE YouTube reviews so I checked out their website via this app....I now know where I can find anything I could ever want. The assortment is amazing, the prices are great and they have truly earned a customer in me.
Tent, sleeping bag and pad are being ordered in the coming week and I know itll just be the start of years of trust and satisfaction. Hard to say before actually having a first order. Thats how confident they make you with Reviews on YT and this app!!!

I dont leave reviews but the service I received from this company was unbelievable! Found a great deal on the mobile app for our upcoming backpacking trip and placed an order. Ive received two emails from the customer service dept. making sure I was happy with the service. Package came fast! Looking forward to another purchase

A strong company with excellent product selection and good prices. Furthermore, theyre are extremely devoted to customer service. Hell they even called me after a few of my orders to see if I was happy with my purchase.
Some bad moments
I created an account over the website, then downloaded the app ... It doesnt launch ... I use iPad Air (iOS 8.1) .. So disappointing!
Buyer beware!! Products shipped are not necessarily the products you ordered.
Purchased Smith Chromapop+ glasses. They didnt ship the chromapop+ sunglasses but just normal sunglasses. The advertised product was MSRP $219 vs $89 or $129. Rip off!
Contacted customer service and after 5 business days still no solution.
Currently the website states product is not in stock, however when I contacted customer service to notify them of the mistake the website listed the chromapop+ as in stock.
Buyer beware! If a deal is too good to be true, chances are you are not getting the right product.
I wonder how many folks are walking around thinking they have a certain product but they dont. Has this happened to others? Legal action?
I shop on backcountry all the time and love the app! And I usually dont like shopping on my phone but the app is clean, easy and functional.
Backcountry has always been my go-to for hiking apparel, casual apparel, vacation accessories and more. I buy everything except jeans from here! (Which I probably should because of their amazing deals). Great prices and great brands! It seems that backcountry only carries the highest quality brands. Im always pleased when I order from backcountry. The customer service is beyond A+. The only con to the pros & cons is that their isnt a backcountry store located near me!! Another great backcountry affiliate is steepandcheap! Check out the app!
